Welcome to the Birla Radha Krishna Mandir in Goa. This Radhakrishna Temple in Sancoale is one of the gorgeous tourist spots of 2023. Just five kilometers from Dabolim Airport in South Goa. The newly opened Birla property spreads across 3.6 acres. This temple was built by 1500 craftsmen and artisans in just 22 months. This temple is so beautiful. It seems that this is not just a place to worship but also a testament to the rich traditions and craftsmanship of India.
This temple is built in Nagara style; the height of the temple is 75 feet, and the carvings on the walls depict the stories of Hindu mythology. And this temple is decorated so well that I have to say it is truly inspiring.
Honestly speaking, I am truly mesmerized by the beauty of this temple. This temple is built in white marble; it’s got so much intricacy and detailing that I can’t get enough of it. And I can’t believe that it only took 22 months to build this temple. This temple was built by Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla. And this temple is dedicated to his grandparents, Shri B.K. Birla and Smt. Sarla Birla. And you’ll also find their statues on the temple premises.
The building of beautiful temples or places where people can find peace and worship their lords is a long-standing tradition of the Birla family. They built over 30 temples across the country.
This temple was inaugurated by Jagadguru Shankaracharya. In the presence of Mr. Pramod Sawant, the chief minister of Goa. And with the presence of the Birla family, the name of this temple is Birla Radha Krishna Mandir. And this temple has a 7-foot idol of Radhakrishna. But apart from that, you can also find Ram Darbar, Shiv Parvathi, Hanuman Ji, and Lord Ganesh.

The temple opened just a few months ago, but every week you will see more than 20,000 devotees coming and worshipping at the Birla Radha Krishna Mandir in Goa. The temple opens every day, but do keep in mind that this temple is closed in the afternoon between 12 a.m. and 3 p.m.
This magnificent temple also has a prayer hall. Which is also called rang mandap, and it can easily accommodate about 650 people. And honestly, it is such a peaceful place to just offer your prayers and seek blessings from the Lord. This temple definitely looks beautiful during the day, but it looks even more beautiful at night. This temple has been illuminated with such beautiful light that you will be amazed to see it. It shines like gold.
