Tracking can be a bit tricky, but the Forest Department created arrows on stones to help you find the route. Just before you get to the main falls, there is another small waterfall. Entry fees in the rainy season by the Goa Forest Department are 100 rupees per person and 30 rupees for college and school kids, so get your ID cards.

How to reach shivling waterfalls (Pali waterfall)

To go to Shivling Waterfall, you have to first come to Valpoi. Valpoi is 41 km from Panaji. After coming to Valpoi, you have to take a left turn from Valpoi Market, which goes towards Pali Thane village. Pali is 9.5 km from Valpoi. You have to take a left turn after 9 km, which goes to Pali Village. After going a little further, you will find ‘Shri Sateri Temple’. The road from the side of the temple goes to Shivling Waterfall. You can take a bike or car 1 km ahead of the temple. You will also easily find the route of this waterfall on Google Map; you have to type “Shivling Waterfall.” But you can reach the road with the help of Google Map; further, you have to walk two kilometers in the forest. It will take around 45 minutes to reach the waterfall. It can be difficult to track, so the Forest Department came up with the idea of arrows on stones.


There are trek guides near the place where you park your bike. As soon as you park your bike, one of the strangers will pass by you. If you ask for directions, he will tell you that he will take you to the waterfall. Once you reach the waterfall, get back to the parking spot. You have to pay them, and he will tell you how much you have to pay.
